Yay - Another challenge card

So annoying when life gets in the way and you don't get a chance to play in the studio, but yippee!!! for this weekend.

This first card uses two challenges:
Pals Paper Arts - Sketch challenge 269

This weekend I am using the "No Bones About it" stamp set from the Stampin Up 2015-16 Annual Catalogue. This a great set for children and adults who don't want to grow up (sure we all know at least one).

This card used the Brick embossing folder on the Tangerine Tango card and the Honeycomb embossing folder on the Crushed Curry (cut into semi-circle shape first). I cut the Whisper White circles using the circle framelits, then stamped the dinosaur heads onto the circles. The greeting was stamped first then cut out using the large oval punch. The leaves were all hand cut.

Check out the gorgeous samples made by the design teams on both of these sites, they always inspire me to step outside of my normal rut and try something different.

Challenges for this weekend - Card 1

The first card for this weekend used two different challenges - a Sketch and a colour combination, I have turned the sketch sideways.:

Pals Paper Arts - Sketch challenge #264

Stampin' Royalty - Colour Challenge #291

This weekend I am using the "Watercolour Wings" stamp set from the Stampin Up 2015-16 Annual Catalogue.

The butterfly was stamped onto the Very Vanilla card in three layers: first stamp in Hello Honey (stamped off first), second stamp in full strength Hello Honey and the third stamp in Blackberry Bliss. Once the butterfly was stamped I cut the piece into 2cm strips and trimmed 1cm off each end of the first and third strips. It was attached with dimensionals to lift it off the background.

The Crumb Cake background was first stamped with the greeting in Crumb Cake ink and then embossed with the Lovely Lace embossing Folder.

Check out the archives for both of these sites for some great inspiration, not just the colours and sketches, but also the wonderful ideas that the design teams have provided.

This weeks Challenges - Card 1

My first challenge card for this weekend has inspiration from two challenges:

Paper Arts Pals Challenge #261 - A sketch challenge

Fab Friday Challenge #69 - A colour challenge

This card used "Guy Greetings" from the new 2015-16 Annual Catalogue. The front of the card uses the tool stamp and Versamark ink on Lost Lagoon card, using the circle framelits to cut out the shapes on the front. The top layer is raised up using Dimensionals. The Whisper White stamped pieces are attached to the Mossy Meadow layer and the base card is Blackberry Bliss. The card is 14.85 x 14.85 in size.

This weekend's challenge cards - Part 3

My third challenge card for the weekend also has inspiration from three challenges: Pals Paper Arts, Just Us Girls, and Paper Craft Crew Challenges.

The Pals Paper Arts Challenge - PPA239 was a colour challenge:

The Just Us Girls Challenge - JUGS #280 was a trend challenge:

The Paper Craft Crew Challenge - PCCCS#131 was a sketch challenge:

I used the new Sale-A-Bration set "Lotus Blossom" for the main image, used "Gorgeous Grunge" from the 2014-15 Annual Stampin Up Catalogue to stamp the background and "Itty Bitty Banners" for the greeting. I also used Burlap ribbon from the Annual catalogue:
