Instructions:
1. Fold
the Whisper White 14.85 x 21cm card in half on the long side. Attach the 10.5 x
7cm DSP down the side of the card front and the 6.6 x 14.85 cm DSP across the
card front. Attach the Daffodil delight 6.75 x 10.25cm card to the front of the
Real Red 10.5 x 7cm card and attach to the front of the card.
2. Mix 2
parts clear embossing powder to 1 part “no sugar” jelly crystals. I made 2
different mixes: Lime and Strawberry.
3. Using
the Whisper White 10 x 6.5cm card, stamp the 3 vases, using markers to colour
the stems Old Olive and Real Red/Island Indigo/Rich Razzleberry for the vases.
Stamp the flowers using Island Indigo, Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight.
Once dry brush over each flower using a Versamarker and cover in embossing
powder. Heat each flower until the powder has melted. Attach the card to the
front of the Daffodil Delight rectangle on the front of the card.
4. Stamp
the sentiment on Whisper White 5 x 3cm card with Early Espresso ink, punch out
using the large oval punch and layer on a scallop oval punched out of Real Red
6 x 3.5cm card and attach to the front of the card using Stampin Up
Dimensionals.
5. Scratch
the spot where you have embossed and the scent will become stronger.
Note: For this technique, you can substitute the Jelly
Crystals for any scented powder, such as cocoa, mixed spice, cinnamon, nutmeg.
The embossed image will be grainy, the extent will depend on what was added to
the embossing powder.
